Written by Established in 1979, the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles is the only artist-founded museum in Los Angeles. It is dedicated to collecting and exhibiting contemporary art and houses one of the most compelling collections in the world, comprising nearly 8,000 objects. The museum is widely recognized for its diverse history of groundbreaking and historically significant exhibitions.
